»Detail« ist eine Weiterführung des Bühnenstücks »Persona« von 2+, das im Jahr 2005 uraufgeführt wurde. Die Videoinstallation zeigt Momente der ursprünglichen Aufführung, die mit Video- und Tonmaterial aus der Recherchephase zu »Persona« vermischt wurden.

2+ ist ein Kollektiv zwischen dem Tänzer und Choreograph Christopher Roman, dem Videokünstler Philip Bußmann und der Dramaturgin Célestine Hennermann. Ihre Projekte können modular verschoben werden, da die Themenbereiche Überschneidungspunkte aufweisen. 2+ wurde 2004 von Christopher Roman und Philip Bußmann gegründet, um gemeinsam Tanz-, Theater- und Videoperformances zu realisieren. »Nach Dem Palast Ist Vor Dem Palast«, die erste Arbeit von 2+, wurde von Sasha Waltz & Guests im Herbst 2004 produziert und im Rahmen der Zwischennutzung des Palastes Der Republik in Berlin gezeigt.

Vor der Gründung von 2+ arbeiteten Philip Bußmann, Christopher Roman und Célestine Hennermann für internationalen Tanz- und Theaterproduktionen. Christopher Roman hat zuletzt als Tänzer und Choreograf mit dem Ballett Frankfurt und der Forsythe Company gearbeitet. Nach acht Jahren als Associated Artist der Wooster Group arbeitet Philip Bußmann als Videodesigner unter anderem mit William Forsythe, Luk Perceval und Sasha Waltz. Célestine Hennermann war Dramaturgin beim Ballett Frankfurt und am TAT und war als freie Regisseurin tätig.

»Detail« is a continuation of the stage piece »Persona« by 2+, which premiered in 2005. The Installation presents moments from the original performance, combined with video and sound material from the research phase for »Persona«.

2+ is a collective between dancer and choreographer Christopher Roman, video artist Philip Bussmann and dramaturg Célestine Hennermann. Their projects can be modularly shifted because their subjects show points of overlapping. The company was founded in 2004 by Christopher Roman and Philip Bussmann to develop dance, theater and video projects. »Nach Dem Palast Ist Vor Dem Palast«, the first piece by 2+, was produced by Sasha Waltz & Guests in fall of 2004 and shown in the festival held at Palast der Republik in Berlin.

Before creating 2+ Christopher Roman, Philip Bussmann, and Célestine Hennermann worked in international dance and theater productions. Christopher Roman worked as a dancer and choreographer most recently with Ballett Frankfurt and The Forsythe Company. After having been an associated artist of The Wooster Group for eight years Philip Bussmann worked as video designer most notably with William Forsythe, Luk Perceval, and Sasha Waltz. Célestine Hennermann worked as dramaturg for Ballett Frankfurt and TAT Frankfurt as well as freelance director.

Mit dem Tod als Ausgangspunkt rückwärts in der Zeit gehend beschreibt »Persona« das Leben einer scheinbar beliebigen Figur. Verweise auf konkrete Künstler vermischen sich mit Momenten aus eigenen Biographien sowie mit fiktivem Material, um eine aus verschiedenen Facetten zusammengetragene Künstlerfigur zu skizzieren.

»Persona« ist das erste Bühnenstück von 2+. Das Kollektiv aus der Dramaturgin Célestine Hennermann, dem Tänzer Christopher Roman und dem Videokünstler Philip Bußmann entwickelt Projekte an der Schnittstelle zwischen Tanz und zeitbasierten Medien. Das Licht für »Persona« gestaltet Jiv M. Wagner.

Taking death as the starting point and journeying backwards in time «Persona» describes the life of seemingly any individual. References to specific artists mix together with moments from personal biographies as well as with fictional material to sketch an artist’s figure composed from many different fragments.

«Persona» is the first theatre production by 2+. The collective between video artist Philip Bussmann, dramaturge Célestine Hennermann, and dancer Christopher Roman develops projects on the border of dance and time based media. For «Persona» Jiv M. Wagner joins 2+ as lighting designer.
